Privacy Policy

Last update: October 21, 2026

At translate-book.com we translate books with artificial intelligence. This is a validation version - at this time no file is processed, no real translations are made, and no real payments are processed. To measure demand we need to process some personal data, such as the name and format of the book, the languages and formats chosen, the approximate country and the displayed price. We also use the Google tag (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) to measure usage and conversions; You can block or delete their cookies from your browser. This policy explains what data we collect, for what purpose, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Data controller

The person responsible for processing the data collected through this site is the owner of translate-book.com. You can contact us at contact@translate-book.com for any privacy-related issues.

2. What data we process

  • Contact information: email address and, if you write to us, the content of your message.
  • Book data: only the file name and format, which are saved in the browser. We do not upload, read or process the content of the book.
  • Simulated order data: interface language, chosen languages and formats, displayed price and whether you have pressed "Translate book".
  • Payments: This version does not process actual payments and does not collect card or billing information.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device and access records, in order to maintain the security and correct functioning of the service.
  • Usage and deduplication data: approximate country based on the IP, interface language, languages and formats chosen, price displayed and whether you have pressed "Translate book". To avoid counting the same sale twice, we use a pseudonymous identifier derived from the IP and a secret; We do not keep the IP clear for this purpose.
  • Google data: cookie identifiers, IP address, browser, pages visited, conversion events and displayed price, processed by Google LLC for Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads.

2.1. Google Analytics and Google Ads

We load the Google tag when entering the website. Google LLC may use _ga and _ga_* cookies for analytics and _gcl_au to measure Google Ads conversions. You can block or delete these cookies from your browser settings.

There is no translation contract or actual payments in this version.

5. How long do we keep the data

In this validation version, the book file is not stored in our database nor the email entered in the summary; the file is only referenced by its name and format in the browser and the email is temporarily saved in the browser's session storage to be displayed in the confirmation.
